I've recently changed browsers from Chrome to Microsoft IE 6. After the change I seem to have a problem with loading JavaScript. Every time I browse page that requires Javascript, my browser does not load and I get a "runtime error javascript.JSException: Unknown name". I cannot seem to find out how to fix it. JSON is data interchange. From JSON.org: "JSON is a data interchange format which is based on a safe subset of JavaScript. JSON can represent simple or complex structured data. JSON cannot represent functions or expressions. It is strictly data." There seems to be a gap in the terminology for this technique (as far as I know), and it seems JSON is being pulled into that vacuum. Perhaps we should all adopt that usage, but security considerations make me think otherwise. What do you think?
